ONE SKY
An Industry linked creative project for World Science Festival Brisbane.
The effects of a global health pandemic demanded changes and altered circumstances
to an industry left vulnerable from both social and economic upheaval. My team and I were
asked to provide an innovative solution to
alter World Science Festival to ensure COVID safe practice and social distancing were I
n place, while drawing the attention of the public and increasing attendees.
This is where project ONE SKY was born. ONE SKY is a virtual reality installation that
provides an immersive experience to share heartfelt stories
and messages in real time.
The project outcome:
“This is far and away the highest grade I will give out this semester, and is
in fact the highest grade I have ever given out while working at QUT.”
– Tutor, Jonathon O’Brien.
This project was selected by QUEENSLAND UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY
(QUT) to be professionally filmed, documented, and used as advertising material
for QUT as part of the Creative Industries Graduate Showcase (see video).

brands unique selling position to increase app uptake by increasing downloads whilst
simultaneously developing the app to consolidate longevity within its customer base.
